Chris Cattau serves as Assistant Vice President, Commercial Counsel for Chicago Title’s National Commercial Services (NCS) operation located in Chicago, Illinois. He joined the Company in 2013 as Claims Counsel. In that role, Chris administered claims with the same professionalism and expediency he now devotes to underwriting. It was a seamless transition within the title arena from claims to underwriting, allowing him to immediately and eagerly begin underwriting both residential and commercial transactions. Chris collaborates daily with customers, attorneys, owners, lenders, developers, and others to ensure the title-related portion of the transaction reaches an efficient conclusion.

Chris has a B.S. in Business Administration from the University of Nebraska-Omaha and earned a J.D. from the University of Nebraska–Lincoln. In his spare time he enjoys running, playing softball and beach volleyball, and traveling back to the family farm in Nebraska.
